As a society we have a deep trust for Emergency Medical Service personnel. We take that one step further by assessing all new hires thoroughly, to ensure they are a good fit for our team. All EMT's undergo:

  • Department of Justice(DOJ) 10 digit fingerprint check.

  • Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI) 10 digit fingerprint check.

  • Enrolled in California's DMV PULL program to notify us of any driver issues.

  • Additional defensive driver training.

NEW, UPGRADED VEHICLES

Our new fleet of 2020 and 2021 Ford Transit vehicles have enhanced safety features, and a much better safety rating compared to the typical pre-2015 ambulance/gurney vans you may have been transported in before. On our Transit's you'll find some of the following additional features:

  • Dynamic Brake Support

SUPERIOR SANITATION

As a LuxCare patient, you not only have the most luxurious ambulance ride in Los Angeles, but the cleanest too. In addition to our thorough standard cleaning procedures before every patient:

  • The flooring contains a proprietary anti-microbial formulation,

  • Surfaces are sprayed with Microban 24 prior to all shifts. This provides 24-hour bacterial protection, even after multiple touches.

  • Our curbside wall & bench are coated with Microban paint that kills germs 24/7.  ***Coming Soon***

AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORS

To ensure the health and well-being of our patients, LuxCare Ambulance Service carries additional equipment that surpasses the requirements set by the Los Angeles EMS Agency. Some of these include:

  • Automatic External Defibrillators

  • Epinephrine Auto Injectors

  • Oxygen Saturation measuring devices

  • Blood Glucose Meters

  • Hemostatic Bandages

 

Hemostatic bandages are used by all five branches of the US Military for faster clotting of blood during trauma. The civilian sector can benefit from this advanced technology. Patients, especially those taking blood thinners such as Warfarin, Heparin, and Coumadin, also experience significantly faster clotting times.
